DESCRIPTION:*The Netherlands has been frontrunner in the transition to Ope
 n Science.*\n\nThe Dutch government has mandated all universities to have 
 100% Open Access to academic publications by 2024 and has recently broaden
 ed its scope to research data. These plans can only succeed by national co
 operation of all parties involved.\n\nThe chairman of Tilburg University i
 s one of three main negotiators with the publishers. As such\, the univers
 ity is expected to be leading the development of policies in Open Science 
 and the monitoring of progress.\n\n*In this talk\, Hylke Annema of Tilburg
  University will tell us about the current developments in the Netherlands

 Support Office of Tilburg University in the Netherlands. After obtaining h
 is Sociology degree he has worked as researcher for the Ministry of the In
 terior and as policy advisor for the Executive Board of the university. A 
 short break at the magnificent city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch has taught him t
 he ins and outs of regional and national cooperation networks and strategi
 c development._\n\n_At the Tilburg University Library he is currently resp
 onsible for the development of policies in the field of Open Science and R
 esearch Data Management. Other activities include general library developm
 ent\, research intelligence and management of the (digital) library collec
