DESCRIPTION:*This facilitated workshop will explore the impact of changing
  times on equality in the UK and will draw together different perspectives
  exploring what can be done to move towards a positive future.*\n\n‘The 
 session will be facilitated by Ila Chandavarkar\, a consultant and trainer
  with over 30 years’ community development experience in equalities\, hu
 man rights and diversity. It will include a presentation from Elisabeth Po
 p. Elisabeth Pop is a Senior Organiser at “HOPE not hate” and coordina
 tor of the Cambridgeshire branch. \n\n“HOPE not hate” is an advocacy g
 roup based in the United Kingdom that campaigns to counter racism and fasc
 ism\, and to combine research with community organising and grassroots act
 ions to defeat hate groups at elections and to build community resilience 
 against extremism. Elisabeth is a civil rights/social justice campaigner w
 ith a background in journalism and is one of the UK experts in Voter Regis
