DESCRIPTION:In the Buddhist teaching\, morality (sila) is emphasised as an
  important base on which one's practice is developed. In the talk\, Simon 
 Neale will discuss what morality means in Buddhism\, why it is an importan
 t part of the teachings and how it helps on the path to enlightenment. Sim
 on will also talk about the Buddhist method of determining whether an acti
 on is helpful or not\, and practical ways of cultivating morality. The ses
 sion also includes a guided meditation.\n\nThis talk is part of the “Gra
 dual Path to Awakening” talk series given by Simon Neale.\n\nSimon is an
  experienced meditator and this will be a great chance to learn about Budd
 hist practice from a very good teacher.\n\nAll our events are free and ope
 n to all.
