DESCRIPTION:Understanding issues of users’ needs\, preferences and usabi
 lity plays important roles in design practice. Due to the rising diversity
  of users and complexity of scenarios\, designers have to spend considerab
 le time on user research. From the design practices in emerging Internet c
 orporations\, such user research has become one of the greatest costs. In 
 this regard\, a faster\, cheaper and smarter user research is highly in de
 mand in industry. Meanwhile\, as an emerging technology\, artificial intel
 ligence (AI) has been widely used and brought significant improvement of e
 fficiency to different fields of study such as finance\, healthcare\, and 
 manufacture. Therefore\, it is promising to apply AI and relating data tec
 hnology into design process to improve the efficiency and quality of desig
 n.\n\nThis talk will introduce how to improve the speed for interaction de
 sign through utilizing data mining and machine learning in user research\,
  which is the key part of design process.
