DESCRIPTION:An intense area of interest in ecology is transferability: how
  to apply a model developed for one region to another region. This type of
 &nbsp\;extrapolation is common in many areas yet is still underdeveloped s
 tatistically\, particularly when models are complex or intractable. In thi
 s presentation I would like to discuss and ask advice about aspects of thi
 s problem\, namely taking an experimental design approach to the problem a
 nd setting vaguely informative priors. Two questions will also be asked.&n
