DESCRIPTION:The nature of research is changing. What is the potential of t
 ext & data mining (TDM)to impact on this? How are researchers today using 
 TDM to cope with the ever-increasing amount of information available? Are 
 funder and publisher policies adapting to reflect both the legal right UK 
 researcher have to mine published literature and the new possibilities TDM
  now present? These are some of the questions we will be asking in this da
 y of talks\, workshops and discussions.\n\nJoin plenary speaker Kiera McNe
 ice of the FutureTDM project\, Cambridge researchers and the National Cent
 re for Text Mining\, along with guest speakers from UCL\, PLOS and more to
  discover:\n\n*practical tips for the text and data mining\n*what text and
  data mining tools are available\n*advice on supporting researchers using 
 or considering using TDM\n*improving the quality of research through text 
 and data mining\n*innovations in text and data mining – new uses for tec
