DESCRIPTION:I will describe minimal models for many-body quantum dynamics
which allow analytical results for the growth of quantum entanglement and
for the spreading of quantum operators in the Heisenberg picture (the quan
tum 'butterfly effect'). These minimal models are random quantum circuits.
I will describe mappings to paradigmatic problems in classical statistica
l mechanics\, for example the Kardar-Parisi-Zhang equation\, and our conje
ctures for universal scaling forms in generic non-integrable models.\n
