 ughes Hall College in collaboration with the Foundation Ramón Areces orga
 nise a seminar on the "Impact of Research":\n\n"Publishing papers is just 
 the first step of many towards making your research impact society".\n\nIn
  this seminar\, we will explore the many ways excellent research can bring
  about positive impact in our society and economy and how sometimes these 
 aspects are overlooked by scientists. We will have three experts on the fi
 eld of impact with different experiences who will focus on highlighting th
 e impact of science beyond academia in aspects such as society\, economy o
 r policy making. \n\nDuring the seminar\, the speakers will discuss what c
 an be done to ensure your research makes a difference and encourage you to
  explore\, from the outset and throughout the life of your project and bey
 ond\, who could potentially benefit from your research and what you can do
  to help make this happen.\n\nAt the end of the seminar we will have a rou
 nd table where the attendees will be able to deepen their ideas in differe
