DESCRIPTION:Leukemia is a cancer characterized by abnormal hematopoiesis\,
or the development of blood. Cells accumulate mutations which lead to a c
omplex hierarchy of cellular populations giving rise to a tumor. Each leuk
emia is distinct in the mutations it harbors\, and the subsequent molecula
r consequences. Our work utilizes single-cell approaches such as raman spe
ctromicroscopy and mass cytometry to better understand the mechanisms of l
eukemia formation\, and informs future directions towards finding targeted
  therapies for hard-to-cure cancers. \n
