DESCRIPTION:Join Addenbrooke's Abroad for an evening celebration of 10 yea
 rs of Cambridge global health partnerships.\n\nOver the past 10 years we h
 ave established four global health partnerships across Africa\, Latin Amer
 ica and Southeast Asia and our volunteers have improved healthcare deliver
 ed to millions of patients in over 59 countries!\n\nOn 23 November we will
  be celebrating these achievements\, by showcasing our longest running par
 tnership with Botswana and launching our 10 year impact report. \n\nWe are
  thrilled to be hosting our two keynote speakers Shenaaz El-Halabi\, Perma
 nent Secretary at the Botswana Ministry of Health and Wellness\, who will 
 be talking about the role of health partnerships in tackling the global he
 alth issues that affect us all\; and Andrew Bastawrous\, eye surgeon and s
 ocial entrepreneur\, speaking on Peek (Portable Eye Examination Kit) Visio
 n and the importance of cross-sector collaboration to improve eye health s
 ervices in low-and middle-income countries.\n\nThe evening will also inclu
 de lightning presentations from three NHS staff members who have volunteer
 ed on our other partnerships – and will be followed by a networking rece
