DESCRIPTION:Professor Kenc earned his PhD in economics at the University o
 f York and has held academic positions at a number of UK universities incl
 uding the University of Cambridge\, Birkbeck College\, the University of D
 urham\, the University of Manchester and Imperial College. Professor Kenç
  he served as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of T
 urkey between April 2011 and April 2016. Professor Kenç was formerly edit
 or-in-chief of the Central Bank Review journal.
