Abstract
I’ll be talking about my work of the past couple of months on doing real time iris tracking using a webcam. My goals were
- to do Bayesian feature tracking that produces posteriors over feature locations rather than point estimates; and
- to do this with the limited computational resources one has when tracking in real time (roughly 40ms per frame).
This will be an informal discussion of a work in progress. Please bring along questions, ideas and wear your critical hats. I’ll be bringing examples, demos and some open questions of my own.
