Abstract
New Concepts in Nanoplasmonics by Prof. Stefan Maier, a leading figure of the field. This an exciting, and rapidly progressing, discipline which allows the direct manipulation of electromagnetism by designed systems, such as negative refractive index materials which lead to ‘invisibility cloaks’.
There would be a wine reception after the talk with the guest speaker.
