OOEW11 - AI for Maths and Open Science

The intersection of artificial intelligence and mathematics is rapidly evolving, making AI an increasingly sophisticated tool for the modern mathematician. In this talk, we broadly discuss recent progress of AI tools towards mathematical exploration and discovery, highlighting practical applications across several fields. Additionally, we give a perspective on emerging new modes of mathematical research at scale as well as novel avenues for collaboration, in an attempt to sketch the transformative new horizons of day-to-day mathematical practice.
