Abstract
R is a free, open source software environment that becomes increasingly popular among researchers. This session aims at demystifying the use of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) in R by providing a basic introduction to its syntax and commands. After a brief overview of the R interface, a step-by-step walk-through of the CFA package will be presented, using real examples. Finally, common problems that could be encountered while using CFA with R will be discussed. No prior knowledge of R is necessary.
