Abstract
In sub-Saharan Africa, educators have been reported to engage in didactic teaching by mainly presenting facts without providing opportunities for discussions that relates to learners’ experiences. Hence the aim of the study was to explore how educators’ preparation can be improved in a context in which resources are limited. In this talk, I will outline some of the challenges identified and possible interventions that were trialled at the site.
