Abstract
The Jochim group have managed to a few cold atoms in a harmonic trap, providing an ideal test bed for the simulation of electron correlations. We investigate their setup using Full Configuration Interaction, and propose experiments to demonstrate how magnetic transitions are effected by correlations.
