This event is free for members and non-members of BioSoc.
To inform third/fourth year students about the PhD application process and to encourage first/second year to start thinking about PhDs, we have invited PhD students to talk about their experiences as well as a speaker from the Careers Service to give a general outline. The talk will cover PhDs in Cambridge Departments, the Wellcome Trust and LMB programmes, and the US graduate school system. It will be useful for anyone currently applying or planning to apply for PhDs in the future.
