Abstract
This talk consists of two parts, (1) an overview of Music Information Retrieval, where artificial intelligence meets musical sciences in recognizing what’s inside a piece of music, with emphasis on recognizing musical chords using custom made feature extraction and sequence-based data modeling (Hidden Markov Models). (2) an overview of how well privacy settings of people on Facebook are predictable, and how we can build a privacy recommender system.
