Abstract
On Tuesday 27 May, the Bavarian film actor, writer and comedian Gerhard Polt will be a guest of the Department at a public event in St John’s College. Polt is well known in Germany for his performances in comic films with a satirical edge, and there are many dimensions to his work (see Gerhard Polt website). In Cambridge he will be presenting his latest film, Und Äktschn!, an antidote to Hitler films, which was the subject of a recent interview in Der Spiegel: Spiegel Interview mit Gerhard Polt
