Abstract
After the launch of Emotion Sense in March 2013, we have collected over 100 million accelerometer samples from thousands of participants, who also volunteer to complete short assessments about their mood at different times of the day. In this short talk, I’ll briefly review the background and design of the Android libraries we have built to support this kind of research, the challenges of processing this data, and our current multi-disciplinary approach to analysing this (first) sensor data source that is available to us.
Series This talk is part of the Computer Laboratory Systems Research Group Seminar series.
