Abstract
In this talk I will discuss a large-scale measurement study of web infrastructure, as seen from the perspective of African networks. The talk will focus on Google’s CDN deployment in Africa, but will also touch upon a number of other considerations, e.g. the impact of DNS resolver location and inter-domain connectivity. The content of this talk forms the basis of an ACM WWW ’16 paper.
