Abstract
Managing Technical Uncertainty and Risk successfully is at the heart of being a practicing process engineer. This talk will aim to address through real industrial examples how this can be done; and some key learnings that may be drawn. The speaker will also attempt to illustrate the different approaches to technical uncertainty/risk management that can be applied at the various stages of the product/process development lifecycle from discovery/R&D through to final commercialisation.
