Abstract
For centuries, astronomers have developed various apparatus to look at the sky. Dr Ian Parry focuses his research on developing more powerful observation techniques, including unfolding space telescopes that can be packed up before launch to reduce cost and later unfold in space to become a big telescope. Dr Ian Parryβs other research topics include spectrographs for various telescopes, both on Earth and in space.
